AllMusic Review by

Eclipse Music's Rock 'N Roll Relix: 1970-78 box set collects the '70s volumes of their Rock 'N Roll Relix series. Disco, pop, bubblegum, new wave, classic rock, and soul all get their due, represented by hits like the Guess Who's "American Woman," Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive," the O'Jays' "Backstabbers," the Bay City Rollers' "Saturday Night," the Knack's "My Sharona," and Blondie's "Heart of Glass." Cheap Trick, Meat Loaf, Hall & Oates, Boston, the Delfonics, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Labelle, Toto, and A Taste of Honey are a few more of the artists represented on this decent collection of '70s hits.
