The ninth studio long-player from the Memphis, Tennessee-based hard rockers, Rise Up arrives just one year after 2013's In It to Win It, the latter of which marked the debut of new lead singer Bobby Amaru, who replaced Josey Scott the year prior. Shortly after issuing In It to Win It, the band revealed that the record was "an early limited time fan only sneak peek," and pulled it from retail. Rise Up is essentially the same record as In It to Win It minus the tracks "Animal," "Flesh," and "I.D.N.A.E." The anthemic, hard-hitting title cut was issued as a single a few months prior to the album's release.
