AllMusic Review by

This is odd, an Asian Man Records release that doesn't feature a horn section, a checkered black-and-white album cover, or a lyrical content that deals with high school crushes. Instead, Korea Girl offers up an honest feel of quiet pop that has more of a female-fronted, Sunny Day Real Estate influence. Although remaining at a mid-tempo pace, the title track of"Reunion" is a pleasant surprise coming from a label that's known for their catalog of ska-pop-punk. Although the same can't be said the lackluster B-side of "Launched," Korea Girl was one of the more overlooked bands on this labels roster.
