The cool-toned but hard-swinging tenor saxophonist Dan St. Marseille has a perfectly suitable band on this release, a pianoless quintet also including guitarist Ron Eschete, bassist Benjamin May, drummer Denny Dennis, and percussionist Poncho Sanchez. St. Marseille explores seven standards and three obscurities (including his title cut), creating fresh bop-oriented statements on such numbers as "Blue Skies," "After You've Gone," and "Like Someone in Love." Recommended.
