No doubt kicking themselves thoroughly for letting Thin Lizzy slip through their fingers after failing to properly support the group through the recording of their first three albums, Decca pulled the typical best of what we have left ploy with 1976's Remembering compilation. Released to cash in on Lizzy's recent chart success behind their breakthrough Jailbreak album, this collection serves up some of the highlights ("The Rocker," "Little Girl in Bloom," "Whiskey in the Jar") of their mostly lackluster early work, as well as a few average B-sides and rarities ("Sitamoia," "Little Darling") to spice things up. Still, there's little reason to get excited, unless you're a fanatical Lizzy supporter.
