AllMusic Review by

The third release on the startlingly high-quality Panic Trax label is from Scottish electro producer Voigt-Kampff (A. Balneaves), here reviving the melodic dryness of Kraftwerk and the bass-driven funk of Juan Atkins' early Cybotron and Channel One tracks ("Asphalt" is clearly inspired by the latter's "Technicolor") in an uptempo deployment of manic syncopation and frequent and inventive breaks. As with the best of the best of the new-school crop, VK reference without deference, drawing from electro's forgotten history while making an appreciable investment in its continuing evolution. Excellent.
