AllMusic Review by

Rapper Jay Black and producer Vice do an admirable job putting this album together, from the rhymes to the beats to the production. Yet mediocrity isn't enough to stand out in the glut of indie rap releases that flooded the market in 2000, as everyone in America with ambitions to be a rapper and with a few dollars to put out a CD seemed to be contributing to the ballooned rap scene. There just isn't anything to get excited about here, with neither the rapping nor the production being anything special. Yet if there is one welcome attribute that can be said about this album, Black's lack of sensationalism is welcome.
