AllMusic Review by

More an evolving playlist than a traditional compilation series, The RCA-List reached its third iteration less than three months after the sequel. Like the previous versions, it was available only on streaming platforms and offered a grab bag of major label RCA's output, from certified hits to tracks by returning and developing artists. Among the mix of commercial rap, R&B, and dance-pop sounds is Bryson Tiller's "Let Me Explain," Chris Brown's "Party" (featuring Usher and Gucci Mane), Martin Garrix's "Scared to Be Lonely" (featuring Dua Lipa), and Jain's "Makeba." Within less than a month of RCA-List, Vol. 3's existence, all 35 of its tracks reappeared on the 36-track fourth volume.
