Falling in line with the remainder of Universal's Radio Waves series, Radio Waves of the '80s: Pop Hits is a skimpy, hastily patched together compilation that doesn't do anyone any favors whatsoever. Just about all of the songs here have already appeared on countless compilations -- Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love," Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now," Wang Chung's "Everybody Wang Chung Tonight," Madness' "Our House," Asia's "Heat of the Moment," and the Fixx's "One Thing Leads to Another" are all obtainable on dozens of better, more caring compilations. If you want ten particular songs from the '80s, and those ten happen to be these ten, you've hit the jackpot. Otherwise, this is another pointless compilation that gives the decade a bad name.
