This collection is split between three major clans of the Mbuti Pygmies. It consists largely of singing -- hunting songs, honey-gathering songs, fiesta and funeral and ritual songs (plenty of those remarkable rocking, wavelike polyphonies, but also a lot of variety). It also has fine examples of the one-note Pygmy flute and the charming musical bow. The liner notes are also excellent, and their warning against ethno-ecological "vanishing" culture over simplifications of the Pygmies complex and by no means hermetic relations with the outside world is very timely.
