Punk Dwellings Review

by Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Punk Dwellings is designed as a showcase for '90s New York punk rockers, and each band contributes one original and one cover -- in other words, you get to hear Snuka tear through "Orgasm Addict" after hearing Latex Generations' "F@*k Me I'm a Rock Star." It doesn't really establish the punk roots of any of the bands involved and the concept bogs down toward the end, but it's not a bad collection of piercingly loud aggro punk, and it functions as a good sampler.
