This double-disc set from Camden/Sony in the U.K. is a curious “best-of” compilation. Certainly there are big singles here, such as “Rich Girl,” ”Bigger Than Both of Us,” “Kiss on My List,” “You Make My Dreams,” “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling,” and “Maneater.” That said, there are loads of cuts from this 36-track collection you might not ever expect to see: “Family Man,” “Kerry,” and “Soul Love,” are three such examples on disc one; while “Alley Katz,” “Missed Opportunity,” “Possession Obsession,” and “Adult Education,” are on disc two. Missing? Some of the duo’s biggest hits: “Sara Smile,” and "She’s Gone,” are just two glaring examples. This is an eclectic collection, but it more for the seasoned fan than the absolute beginner. That said, there aren’t any weak cuts here, everything is flushed with blue-eyed soul, slick '80s funk, and danceability.
