AllMusic Review by

Jessica Williams' first record as a leader features the 28-year-old pianist performing six unaccompanied solos, playing on piano, electric piano, and organ during four cuts with bassist Mark Bradshaw and drummer Dave Tucker, and taking "Plath's Return" as an overdubbed solo on keyboards, keyboard bass, and drums. With the exception of John Coltrane's "Transition," all of the compositions are Williams' originals and, although not yet a giant of the keyboard, her musical personality was already beginning to emerge. This out of print LP will be difficult to find.
