In his opening album, Zeca Baleiro inscribes himself in the best segment of pop music in Brazil today: in spite of not having the deep knowledge of Brazilian music as practiced by the samba, choro, pagode, baião, and other proponents, he didn't capitulate to the powerful interests of the industry, always committed to de-characterize Brazilian music in order to sell watered-down mischief. In this album he has several northeastern grooves, instrumental and interpretation standards, which coexist with a more commercial approach in which guitars, keyboards, and drum machines are present. The album has the hits "Stephen Fry," "Essas Emoções," and "Heavy Metal Do Senhor." Urban pop Brazilian contemporary music competently performed.
