What's Willie Nelson doing on a polka CD? Having so much fun you probably won't recognize him wrapping his voice around a trio of songs with Jimmy Sturr's Florida-based whopper of a polka band. In addition to Willie's guest shot on the pun-driven "Big Ball's in Cowtown," and Bob Wills' "All Night Long," and the traditional "Tavern in the Town," Sturr's band does the Cajun two-step with guest accordionist Jo-El Sonnier, shines with classic vocal group The Jordanaires, and even does Polish with a hilarious version of rock songwriters Chapman and Chinn's "Alice." All this goes to prove not only that polka is the quintessential American music embracing every genre in its reach, but that it's also more fun than a barrel of beer.
