AllMusic Review by

The second compilation volume of tracks from Goldie's Metalheadz Records is a much darker affair than the first. While the original offered many tracks closer to house music than jungle, the second concentrates on the more industrial sounds of tech-step and neuro-funk, courtesy of Ed Rush's "The Raven," Optical's "To Shape the Future" and "The Warning" by Codename John (better known as Grooverider). Though Metalheadz stalwarts such as Peshay, Lemon D and Digital each contribute tracks, the focus on this second volume is on the future, and Metalheadz appears to have grown with the times quite well. It would have been quite difficult to have produced a compilation as essential as the first, but this one comes close.
