An unusual record for a band who probably has the most unusual name, ever. Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her is all over the place, starting off with a jazzy, noir-sounding bassline, finger snaps and all, that unexpectedly breaks into a loud, abrasive, three-chord punk blast. With this formula, which is accompanied by a wah-wah pedal guitar solo on the A-side of "Pink Soda," a rawer, crunchier guitar lead starts off "Asking for It," following a continually repeated vocal line of "you can get me some money." Additionally, this B-side contains odd, randomly placed noise swirls and an upbeat breakdown of loud guitars in a somewhat similar fashion to the title track. Somewhat original, but nothing too outstanding within the field of experimental Japanese punk.
