AllMusic Review by

Perfect in Every Way is a 12-song distillation of the material from the double-disc collection Madison Blues, chronicling the period in the early '70s when keyboardist/singer Christine McVie (then Christine Perfect) was the main frontwoman for Fleetwood Mac. As they were still essentially blues-rockers at this time, Perfect's soulful belting on these live and studio recordings is as far from the silky pop tones of her later work with the band as the material is from the Mac's mainstream blockbusters later in the decade.
