Audio Fidelity's Doctored for Sound series is no place to look for great jazz, but as stereo-showoff albums go, Percussive Jazz, Vol. 2 is better than most on Audio Fidelity, Time, or Command (all of which share the same session musicians). This is an evenly good album, and while the tunes are arranged very specifically (unjazz-like), there are occasional spurts of inspiration. "Moanin'" and "Fever" lead off well; "Just in Time" and "Bangles, Baubles, and Beads" are also good.
