In his fourth outing, Pedro Conga keeps the proceedings burning, thanks in part to Jorge Millet's arrangements, which give polish to this recording, from which the tune "Llévatela" (composed by Johnny Ortiz) was the most promoted tune. The band continues to open doors for themselves, showing great command and skill. Vocalists Silvestre Ayala and Enrique de Jesús are competent performers who do justice to the material. This hard-to-find LP shows the band in their early-recording era. Interestingly, "Danilo" (composed also by Ortiz) has an air of spontaneity that was a trademark of Millet's arranging style (reportedly, this song was recorded after a single rehearsal). This obscure gem is worth searching for.
