The Australian compilation Startrax is a budget-line collection -- as are most discs subtitled "Over 60 Minutes of Music" -- and it sounds that way. Much of the disc is muffled and rather distant (even though the original recordings are sonically livelier than this), there are no liner notes (just the song titles in the insert, with publishing information; no dates, though), and the cover photo is blurry -- everything a clear indication that this is bottom-of-the-barrel product. If you can stomach that, this collection isn't that bad, since it does have a good song selection, but the shoddiness of the package will erase even that for most listeners.
