Paris Is Burning is yet another reissue of the Dolls' 1974 Paris performance. The sound is rough in places (David Johansen's vocals are almost lost on "Personality Crisis") and it's a typically ragged live set, as well, but since there were no "official" live recordings of the band, it's a valuable snapshot for diehard fans. However, before checking out Paris Is Burning, one should already own both New York Dolls and Too Much Too Soon at the very least.
