There’s a lot to be said about an album that can blend powerful guitar licks with syncopated drumming and the heartfelt lyrics of a man scorned. Panda does just that with their third studio release, Para Ti Con Desprecio. Songs like “Cuando No Es Como Debiera Ser” and “Si Supieras” carry the love-gone-wrong theme throughout the album; “Muñequa,” which can be translated as "doll," paints a dire picture of despair amidst a fierce punk rock backdrop, as the chorus describes the title figure as “crying.” Para Ti Con Desprecio has been described as Panda’s most popular CD release, the one that introduced many fans to the Mexican band and compelled them to seek out more. And it’s no surprise: the band’s heart and soul were put into this album.
