AllMusic Review by

Reggae, contemporary pop, and world percussion are the commercial face of the album that makes it quite enjoyable for a broad audience, but there are subtler elements waiting for the adventurous listener. In the frevo "Carnaval," disco electronic drumming is topped by extremely dissonant brass attacks while the lyrics satirize Brazil. Redneck folklore is evoked in "Olho Seco," while the sensitive toada "Eu Não Sei Falar de Amor" modernizes tradition. The hit "Casinha Branca" (Gilson/Joran) brings the catchy melody and the bucolic lyrics for a 2000 ambience. Good melodies and creative lyrics evidence a sensible growth in Kléber Albuquerque's sound.
