With Adrian Sherwood's amazing production technique providing the foundation, Nylon takes off on this dark, moody exercise in postmodern pop that includes an incredible downtempo version of "Jailhouse Rock." Oddly, Pal Judy disappeared almost immediately after its release, and it wasn't until the American label ROIR rediscovered it and reissued it on cassette and CD nearly a decade later that it was put into wide release. And it's a good thing, because it represents Nylon's finest moment, as well as more great work by Sherwood.
