This otherwise traditional medium-to-fast punk/garage quartet from Bloomington, IN, has a unique slant: the scratchings of violinist Carla Poehler (and, on one track, her synth playing) bravely attempt to make themselves heard amongst the cacophonous din and tinny production. As Prego used to exclaim, "It's in there!" Were it not for the razor sound (whoa, trebly bass), this dug-in group could give Indiana punk pioneers the Zero Boys a run for their money, thanks to their wired playing, hooks, and above-average lyrics. Not bad at all.
