One Love introduces vocalist Taeko Fukao to audiences outside of her native Japan in what can be termed as a unique musical offering. She is accompanied by some of New York's finest jazz musicians including Dwayne Burno, Doug Richardson, and Harry Whitaker. The set opens and closes with the Bob Marley anthem "One Love" and also includes several Great American Songbook standards including "It Could Happen to You," "Trav'lin Light," and "I've Never Been in Love Before." However, the best song on the recording is Fukao's version of "Dindi" on which she truly shines.
