AllMusic Review by

All 20 of these tracks are covers of songs by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, recorded in September 1973 and originally issued on the albums Tony Bennett Sings 10 Rodgers & Hart Songs and Tony Bennett Sings...More Great Rodgers & Hart. With this particular singer and that songwriting team in place, it's hard to misfire unless the arranger or producer really botches things up. Fortunately, that doesn't happen here, as the singer and songs are given the jazz-orchestral settings the material calls for on both lightly swinging numbers and ballads, tastefully done and without unnecessary embellishments. Bennett was not at the peak of his popular visibility when these songs originally came out in the mid-'70s, but this set is quality easy listening pop, on par with the better-known items in his catalog with a similar focus. For those who enjoy his jazziest side the most, highlights are his uptempo paces through "The Lady Is a Tramp" and "This Can't Be Love."
