Not quite as well-known as some of the Gershwin brothers' other musicals, Oh Kay! is still a very fine musical in its own right. The most memorable song is likely "Someone to Watch Over Me," but the rest of the score is still strong. A tale of bootleggers and romantic entanglements that ends properly, as most Gershwin musicals do, this recording is enjoyable and a fun listen. Also included on this CD version are three bonus tracks of alternate takes of the songs "Maybe," "Someone to Watch Over Me and "Clap Yo' Hands," performed by Mary Martin and George Gershwin.
