This is Lorrie Morgan of the late '70s, before her marriage to Keith Whitley and her chart-topping singles for RCA in the early '90s. These ten tracks, originally recorded for Hickory Records, are good, but not essential for anyone but the most ardent fan. They are somewhat flat when compared to her RCA output. Basically, this is second-tier Nashville pop crossover material that includes a decent version of the easy listening standard "Love Letters," "Two People in Love," and an early example of Morgan's songwriting on "Making Love for the First Time."
