AllMusic Review by

This San Diego quartet plays new-millennium punk inspired more by Green Day, or, more likely, Blink 182, than any of the classic '70s/'80s bands to which their ancestry can be traced. You can tell this because the songs and riffs are quick and catchy (and kinda poppy), and, lyrically, they really never leave a designated theme or two. They can be loud and snotty ("On My Way," "Change") and even introspective ("Been Alone"), but Off by One are way too self-conscious and derivative to make any sort of lasting impression.
