Dedicated to both God and throat-shredding metal-core, Ohio's Staple is a Christian-rock band with a razor-sharp edge. On the group's second album for the Flicker label, OF TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION, vocalist Darin Keim, who alternates between hardcore screaming and melodic singing, leads the group through rumbling, guitar-heavy tunes that feature breakneck time changes and potent metal riffs. Those seeking uncompromisingly fierce songs of faith will undoubtedly appreciate this 2005 record.
