Don't expect to be too surprised with Oceans: The String Quartet Tribute to Enya. As the title no doubt leads you to believe, this album features a string quartet interpreting some of Enya's most well-known songs such as "Orinoco Flow." While this may appeal to those who have a taste for strings or for those looking for a more minimal version of Enya's music, it probably won't appeal to most fans. Her music is usually lush and meticulously crafted, which is part of what makes her music so emotionally captivating. Unfortunately, by stripping all of that away, you're left with lots of strings and little more than a faint trace of the original songs and their associated melodies.
