Tender album presenting the personal blend of Ricardo Vilas' preferred styles: Bahian samba, Afro-Brazilian grooves, contemporary music (finding room for funk, rap, and reggae), and Brazilian canção. A singer whose voice timbre is very similar to Taiguara's, Vilas also presents his compositions. Highlights are Dorival Caymmi's "Você Já Foi Á Bahia," Gilberto Gil's "Procissão," and the originals "Recado Censurado" (a lively samba), "S.O.S. Ano 2000) (maracatu that navigates in the waves of axé-music but with activist lyrics), "A Cidade de Jota E Gê" (with Teca Calazans, again a Bahian samba with social thematic), and the samba-canção "Eu Vou Seguir Viagem."
