AllMusic Review by

The third and final volume of Norton's series of unissued garage rock recorded at Seattle's Northwest Studios by producer Keany Barton. The influence of the Sonics and the Wailers (both recorded by Barton) is readily evident, but there are also hints that the British Invasion has had an impact. The nasty guitar breaks, pounding drums, swirling organ, and snarling, screaming vocals that were hallmarks of Barton's sound are here in abundance, but there are also harmony and background vocals not heard on the first two volumes. With standouts like Rocky and His Friends' "Your Weren't Using Your Head," the Beachcombers' "Help Yourself Baby" and the Vandals' "Talkin' About You," this volume has the best sampling of the raw Northwest sound Barton so vibrantly captured.
