This is a rather startling compilation in that not only does it contain 15 chart-topping hits, it also reveals which acts were able to repeat a Herculean feat to begin with. While virtually anyone who followed the form knew that Voz del Mando's "Cuelga Bien Tu Celular" was one of the biggest tracks of the year in Latin music (it scored on the Latin singles, norteño, and Latin pop charts), how many could have guessed that El Poder del Norte and Los Rieleros del Norte hit the top spot twice each -- the former with "Con Tu Imagen" and "Que Diosito Te Perdone," and the latter with "Estaré Mejor" and "No Volveré." This comp contains all four tracks. Other highlights include "No Voy a Morir," by Roberto Junior y Su Bandeño, Palomo's "El Infiel Más Fiel," Pesado's "Que Bonito Es el Amor," and Tren Diamante's "Ángel o Demonio," to name just a few, proving that 2012 was a great year for the norteño genre.
