AllMusic Review by

New York Keytar slingers Shy Child have resurrected the fractured, freaky rhythms of '70s new wave pioneers like Devo and Pere Ubu. NOISE WON’T STOP luxuriates in cold, slashing synth textures and jerky, robotic beats while retaining a healthy measure of pop songcraft. Sparkling keys and synthetic handclaps on “The Volume” suggest a forgotten '80s FM radio chestnut, and “Angel of Mercy” rides disco cymbals into an uplifting, frantic dance floor anthem. Sometimes making cutting-edge pop takes otherwise obsolete tools, and Shy Child’s synth-pop erases the distinction between art and dance to make the best of both.
