This two-disc concept in Wagram's long-running series once again divides up two discs, one suitable for setting an ambience during the daytime and one for the night hours. The first disc is a bit unsteady, wavering from hip-hop to acid jazz and back again with very few songs of note -- save for the Detroit Experiment's brilliant "Space Odyssey" and Jazzy Jeff teaming with Erro for "Rock Wit U." However, where the first disc falters, the second disc showcases some of the finest dance music producers who have graced the New York City circuit for the previous five years. Disco gurus and environites Daniel Wang and Metro Area are present, as are DJ Spinna and house legends Masters at Work and Romanthony. It's an enjoyable compilation and much better than most of the stuff on the overly Saturday chill-out compilation market, but it would have been a dynamite release if it had been slimmed down to a one-disc excursion.
