Flutist Alexander Zonjic's 1991 effort is comprised of R&B dance music, forgettable soul vocals and token exotic sounds, buried by the funk. The supporting cast on this very commercial date includes Kirk Whalum on tenor, guitarist Hiram Bullock and keyboardist Bob James. Zonjic sounds like he could develop into a talented flutist with time, but this CD contains no jazz interest or adventure and is only recommended to listeners who actually enjoy Hubert Laws' Columbia recordings.
