Flamenco/new age guitarist Armik delivers another smoothly rendered collection of supremely laid-back instrumental songs on Mystify, his 29th album. The formula of romantic, vaguely Spanish-style guitar whispering that has allowed the Iranian-born musician to dominate the new age charts remains unchanged. Fans of his music will find a familiar, incense-scented world in these 11 fretless bass and conga-aided tracks with titles like "Friday Night Rumba" and "April Rain." It may be as exotic as a trip to World Market, but it's as reliable as a cart full of budget wine and some scented candles.
