With rhythms hovering around 128 bpm, My Personal Fitness: Aerobic Workout House Edition uses house music's steady four-on-the-floor as the backbone for a pulse-pounding cardio soundtrack. Tracks such as BK Duke & Tom Leeland's "My Way" and Yasmeen & Danism's "Rise [Main Mix]" have enough drama for dance-based workouts and enough staying power for running or a stint on an elliptical trainer. While most of the set focuses on keeping a consistent beat and sound, quirkier choices like the house-ified versions of "Let the Music Play," "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," and "Águas de Marco" give the mix some much-needed personality. For those who don't want to take the time to craft their own workout playlists, Aerobic Workout House Edition brings a little bit of the club to the gym.
