AllMusic Review by

With totally expected unpredictability, Bogdan Raczynski distanced himself from the percussion-heavy drill'n'bass of Boku Mo Wakaran and Samurai Math Beats to produce his gentlest album to date. Sincerity was always in question when discussing Raczynski, and it was difficult to determine just how much this major shift in style was a prank on the emotions of the infamously orthodox IDM community -- but My Love I Love had some of the best songs of Raczynski's career. Tracks three, seven, and nine were mind-throttlingly awkward but in a quiet sort of way, and the LP was generally very melodic and nearly beatless, similar to Kid 606's P.S. I Love You but less accessible and more like Boards of Canada scoring Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys.
