Kelly Rowland released only two albums on Columbia -- Simply Deep (2002) and Ms. Kelly (2007) -- yet here is an anthology with a misleading title. Playlist: The Very Best of Kelly Rowland rounds up the highlights from her two Columbia albums and collects a number of club mixes, a soundtrack cut, and “When Love Takes Over,” her hit 2009 collaboration with David Guetta. Ironically, this is more likely to appeal to devout Rowland fans -- specifically those who do not buy digital downloads -- than casual listeners, as five of the 14 tracks were issued as non-album digital singles.
