AllMusic Review by Christian Genzel

Step Up 4: Miami Heat (released in the U.S. as Step Up: Revolution) is the fourth installment in the successful dance movie series, and as with the previous films, the movie spawned a soundtrack full of Latin-tinged hip-hop and electro-dance tracks. The album includes exclusive tracks by Jennifer Lopez ("Goin' In" feat. Flo Rida), Fergie ("Feel Alive", feat. Pitbull & DJ Poet), and Timbaland ("Hands in the Air", feat. Ne-Yo), as well as remixes of previously released songs such as Travis Barker's "Let's Go," Far East Movement's "Live My Life," and M.I.A.'s "Bad Girls." The Step Up 4 soundtrack charted at number three in the U.S. Billboard Top Soundtracks, number seven in the Austrian album charts, and number 27 in the German album charts.
