Jürg Fuyûzui Zurmühle writes in the back of this CD booklet that this is "a soundtrack to scenes created in the listener's imagination." You may find yourself totally agreeing with him. While listening to the pieces, you may feel as if you are walking on a road somewhere between villages, hearing sounds, noises, especially music, from all around, including rock or jazz from some sound system or radio. Some far away, some nearby. The title of this CD probably should be more evocative, such as Travelling Into the Heart of Music, or something similar. This is a music to stir up one's inner imagination and stories; a film in which each one of us is his own director. Simply mesmerizing. The instruments? There is shakuhachi, flutes, percussions, tabla, ballaphon, piano, guitars, and drum.
