AllMusic Review by

Grupo Atrapado, who first came to fame on the radio stations of Monterey soon after their formation in the mid-'90s, perform their entertaining mix of Norteno and grupero music (a poppy, ballad-style offshoot of Norteno), to great effect on this Grammy-nominated collection. The band quickly gathered a following in the Corpus Christi area of Texas, and from this varied and innovative set of peppy dance songs, cumbias, and corridos it's easy to see why.

Typical of Atrapado's sound is "Idiota," which concisely sums up the band's combination of danceability and sentimentality, and the equally catchy title track, which incorporates hip-hop scratching, reggae dance hall rhythms, and synthesizer flourishes, along with the more traditional accordion. MUEVETE MUEVETE MAS is a skillful combination of ballads, pop, and traditional styles which further enhances Atrapado's reputation as rising stars in the world of Mexican music.
