A good collection of the best in 1995's hip-hop scene (along with a rogue track from Sheryl Crow). One rather refreshing item to note about this compilation: some half of the tracks are actually the original LP mixes for the songs (something that the Party to Go series hasn't generally been too good about providing). Represented here are Notorious B.I.G. in his premier hit, Coolio and LV in their smash from Dangerous Minds, Skee Lo in his stunning (and only) major hit, a track from Naughty by Nature, and a cover collaboration between Mary J Blige and Method Man of Ashford and Simpson's "You're All I Need." Perhaps one of the best highlights here, though, is "Bounce It Y'all" from virtual unknown DJ Kizzy Rock. For a nice overview of what was hot (and for the most part, what was good) in 1995, this is actually a very good album to pick up.
