AllMusic Review by Ashleigh Kittle

Singer/songwriter Crystal Lewis never ceases to amaze in her ability to innovatively approach the styles of CCM, pop, and R&B, creating edgy yet lyrically poignant pieces. Her Metro 1 Music release More celebrates the five years of her career prior to 2001, offering listeners a multimedia experience in one package. The double-disc project features a CD containing 13 tracks from previous releases plus three new songs, and a DVD containing a documentary on the making of More, a collection of Lewis' music videos, and a handful of Surround Sound mixes. The album's title song is a combination of high-energy rock, pop, and R&B, with the DVD's music video playing as a movie trailer featuring Lewis as an action hero fighting injustice. "I Guess," a song about marriage, and "Like a Child" round off the three new tracks. Best-of songs include "Only Fools," "God's Been Good to Me," and "Not the Same." A documentary, which contains interviews with Lewis and clips of the recording of More, offers an intimate, personal look at the project. The music videos include "Trust Me" from Fearless and "Lord, I Believe in You" from Gold. Rounding out the DVD is a collection of Surround Sound mixes featuring the songs "I Now Live," "Shine, Jesus, Shine," and "Like a Child." More is a definite must-have from the Crystal Lewis music library. It features a collection of well-loved songs combined with new material that only serves to highlight "more" to come from the prolific California native.
