Soprano saxophonist Jessie Allen Cooper essentially performs melodic mood music on this CD. Not much of an improviser, he generally sets mildly melancholy moods without really developing them much, utilizing several electronic rhythm sections and emphasizing the themes. His playing is not distinctive and serves mostly as background music, not stepping out as a soloist so much as being the leader of the ensemble. Although reasonably pleasing, this effort is ultimately forgettable.
