Charlotte Nilsson's second album is very much a continuation of her debut: midtempo acoustic pop very much in the style that was popular at the turn of the century. Unfortunately, her crack team of Swedish songwriters and producers was obviously saving its better songs for international artists. The title track is a good pop ballad with a memorable chorus, and lead single "You Got Me Going Crazy" has a quirky charm, but a distinct lack of variety means that -- even at a brisk 12 tracks -- this album begins to wear thin quickly. Every track follows the same formula of inane lyrics and a predictable key change in the third act, and by the midway point you're likely to be wondering if you've had the same song on repeat for 20 minutes. Even in her homeland the album was a dud, spawning no major hits. Nilsson took some time off and re-emerged in 2004 with a new name and thankfully a much stronger direction.
